Bees live inside the hive, isolated from the outside world. A layer of propolis, which they obtain from the resins of various trees, covers the interior of the home and keeps them away from anything that could harm them. Direct communication with their environment is then carried out by the harvester workers who are responsible for bringing nectar and pollen from the flowers.
